In-person lactation consultations aren't always an option. Whether it’s health issues, travel distance, not finding the right person, or the pandemic — access to breastfeeding care shouldn’t be something you miss out on.

Virtual lactation support is easy on parents because…

  • It’s flexible

  • You don’t have to leave the house

  • Never worry about packing up a newborn or finding parking

  • It offers great long-term support from the comfort and privacy of your home

Parents often find it better than in person because YOU are the ones doing the work with latching and helping your baby, so you learn faster and easier.

Katie came as a recommendation from my (very wise!) IBCLC who was stumped on some issues we were having with my daughter post oral ties revision. We did not get the results we were hoping for after the revision and my daughter continued to have trouble gaining weight, reflux, and quite a bit of pain with breastfeeding. We had been to a few different body workers and doing all that the IBCLC recommended. When I first met with Katie, I was so impressed at her knowledge regarding oral ties and her holistic approach ensuring that all factors were considered. We were evaluating whether or not we were going to need another revision, which I truly was trying to avoid. With my goals in mind, Katie was able to provide us with a variety of very practical exercises, homeopathy recommendations, and support to help us achieve this. Another thing that set her above the rest is that she took the time outside of our visits to research and actually interview local bodyworkers and dentists that could supplement care / provide another revision if needed. This was invaluable. I am happy to report that after 5-6 weeks of working with Katie, my daughter is growing like a weed (ped was in shock!), reflux has improved drastically, and no more pain with nursing! I highly recommend Katie if you are struggling in any way with nursing / oral ties.

How much would your life change knowing why your baby struggles to eat?

Imagine how much more sleep everyone could be getting!

“Katie’s an outstanding lactation consultant. Our daughter struggled to gain weight and was fussy during her first 2.5 months of life. We saw two lactation consultants (in-person) and two pediatricians who weren't able to help us. We're so grateful that a friend referred us to Katie. Katie was able to quickly diagnose that our daughter had a tongue and lip tie during our virtual session. She was incredibly helpful every step of the way for the release and then rehab post-treatment. Katie was invaluable to our family in continuing our breastfeeding journey. Our daughter quickly gained weight and is still breastfeeding now at 7 months. We are so, so very grateful to have found Katie.”

Working with Katie truly changed our lives. I began working with her about 2 weeks postpartum and she’s been with me ever since (we are now almost 10 months postpartum). I was struggling quite a bit in the early stages of motherhood and Katie provided support and education to help our daughter AND she make my health, happiness and well being an equally important priority of care. Katie made me feel seen and heard and saw me as my own person and not just a new mom. I appreciate that she provides telehealthcare as it makes her so much more accessible and the quality of care was unmatched. She was quick to respond and always made the effort to support and do her own learning to help provide more person-specific care. She helped me advocate for myself and for my daughter. She shared her opinion that our daughter had a tongue tie, recommended a top doctor in the field and supported us through the process of getting it released and the aftercare. That was a HUGE turning point for my daughters and my journey. I reference insight Katie has shared often and am so grateful she is in our life! I would give her a thousand stars if possible! - Kelly, mom of 1
