You are not supposed to suffer while breastfeeding your baby.

If you are — something is wrong! You can only Google so much when you’re exhausted and baby is hungry all the time. There's nipple pain, trouble latching, and reflux. Plus, millions of other problems you or your baby could be facing.

When you need breastfeeding support an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is the answer.

Hi, I’m Katie, IBCLC, founder of Cuddles and Milk, and Katie the Traveling Lactation Consultant podcast. I provide the honest, virtual breastfeeding support you need — judgment-free! I’m a former Labor & Delivery and NICU nurse, have 2 kids of my own, and know what it’s like being in the trenches of feeding babies — it's truthfully hard…But it doesn’t have to be.

I help you feed your baby — however you want to feed your baby. Not everyone has a lactation consultant near them or sometimes they don’t solve your problem. Telehealth breastfeeding support gives moms options to get skilled lactation services — at home! And if you want in person support, office visits now available in Mount Vernon, WA.

  • Provide family-tailored support for solutions

  • Follow your baby’s progress with attentive care

  • Coach on latching, positions, & feeding options (breast, bottle, pumping)

Sleeping twins

“Angel sent from above! Katie literally saved us after our twins were born and had trouble putting on weight. We saw multiple lactation consultants and pediatricians. But it was Katie’s time, experience, and expert advice that allowed me to continue to exclusively breastfeed my girls and help them to put on weight! She’s the whole package —- former NICU and labor & delivery nurse turned lactation consultation, with inpatient and outpatient experience! She is also a mom herself so she knows firsthand the struggles of breastfeeding. Not only was Katie's clinical advice right on point but her compassion and understanding are just what a new or experienced mom needs during her breastfeeding journey.” — Megan, mom of 4 (including twins)

Services

“I came to Katie after struggling with oversupply, that made it nearly impossible to nurse my baby. Her expertise, support and kindness helped my daughter and I get through a very difficult time. She provided invaluable information which ultimately brought down my supply and allowed me to continue to breastfeed. ”

— Jess, Mom of 1
