In-person lactation consultations aren't always an option. Whether it’s health issues, travel distance, not finding the right person, or the pandemic — access to breastfeeding care shouldn’t be something you miss out on.

Virtual lactation support is easy on parents because…

  • It’s flexible

  • You don’t have to leave the house

  • Never worry about packing up a newborn or finding parking

  • It offers great long-term support from the comfort and privacy of your home

Parents often find it better than in person because YOU are the ones doing the work with latching and helping your baby, so you learn faster and easier.

What Your Virtual Lactation Consultation Covers

As an IBCLC, first and foremost we are here to listen to your concerns. While we hope you get care early, often mothers reach out when exhausted, with bleeding nipples, and simply looking for help. We are here to give you exactly what you’re looking for. We care deeply about each family that chooses us to guide them on this meaningful journey.

We’ll Discuss Other Valuable Topics Like:

  • Pregnancy, Labor and Birth History

  • Medical & Health Concerns

  • Assess Latch and Oral Function

  • Supply Issues

  • Mental Health (You Matter Too!)

  • Education on Tongue Tie if Needed

  • Resources You Need

  • Custom Care Plan

  • Referral Recommendations if Needed

Getting a good look virtually is not only possible, it’s what we do. Using telehealth, we have proudly helped hundreds of families globally with their breastfeeding needs. Understanding your baby’s oral function is key to solving their feeding troubles.

BONUS: All consultations come with 2 weeks of email and text support — because we know you’ll have questions and need reassurance. We are here to make your life easier!

Don’t suffer when you’ve got us in your corner.

Tips to help a virtual visit:

  • Have a partner or loved one help hold computer, tablet, or phone (for the first visit).

  • Any supplies you use (nipple shields and creams, nursing pillow, pump parts, bottles, formulas, etc).

  • Check time zone before our visit.

Note: Your privacy and protected health information (PHI) are of utmost importance. Cuddles and Milk uses HIPPA-compliant platforms to meet virtually so your privacy is protected. My email is also HIPPA compliant for communication, as I know pictures say a thousand words!
